We opened our Topeka office because people here asked for care that goes beyond coping skills. Our Topeka team includes an LGBTQIA+ specialist focused on identity work, a therapist dedicated to perinatal care for young mothers from before pregnancy through the postpartum months, and two autism specialists who work with kids and families. Alongside those specialties, our clinicians help children, teens and adults with trauma, depression, anxiety and life transitions, drawing on CBT, DBT skills and Internal Family Systems.
State employees, Washburn students, military and veteran families, and folks driving in from Auburn, Silver Lake or Rossville all find their way to us. Evening hours and telehealth make it easier to fit therapy around shift work and long commutes.
Topeka clients can also access psychiatry and medication management by telehealth, and our Topeka clinicians bring psychedelic-assisted therapy training to support clients in our SomaVerse ketamine program. EMDR is offered at our Lawrence and Overland Park offices; Lawrence is about 30 minutes east on I-70.
