Hi there! My name is Aliuwa Unoke and I am so glad you are taking the time to care for yourself. Now is definitely the time. Why continue to suffer.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, graduate from Washburn University’s Masters in Social Work Program. I have been practicing since 2013 and I thoroughly enjoy what I do. I work with the following issues trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, emotional/sexual/physical abuse, women’s issues, life transitions, stress management, co-dependence, divorce, parenting challenges, anger management and grief.

My therapeutic modality is Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Therapy (AEDP) which focuses on the holistic aspect of a person to produce corrective intrapersonal emotional and interpersonal experiences that creates changes in the brain. AEDP’s foundation is in somatic-focused approaches, affective neuroscience, emotion theory, attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology. I also incorporate periodically into my work Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy. This is a mouthful but it is important you know how I work, to see if these approaches would be the best fit for you.
