Jacob Bigus, LMSW (he/him)
Jacob works with individuals who feel something is missing and are seeking deeper meaning, connection, and understanding in their lives. Whether someone is navigating financial or relational insecurity, racing thoughts, depression, or a sense of disconnection from themselves or the world around them, Jacob offers therapy as a place to begin with trust and curiosity. He believes healing starts with a safe, grounded space where people can explore thoughts and emotions that may feel difficult to share elsewhere, without fear of judgment or dismissal.
Jacob is especially passionate about working with men to heal the harm created by rigid expectations of masculinity, as well as supporting women and people of all gender identities in reconnecting with their intuition and authentic selves. He warmly welcomes individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+, queer, polyamorous, non-monogamous, or who engage in alternative lifestyles, offering affirming care that centers acceptance, autonomy, and self-understanding.
Through radical acceptance, non-judgment, and a strength-based approach, Jacob works collaboratively with clients to identify what is already working in their lives. Together, these strengths become pathways back into connection-with self, community, and the natural phases of life. Jacob believes that healing happens when there is truly space at the table for all individuals, and he is committed to fostering that space in his work.
