I believe that all people deserve support, understanding, and compassion. I view myself as walking alongside clients as they can find their joy and strength, learn to celebrate what makes them unique, and realize the wisdom that they already have inside. I have worked with clients who are struggling with difficult life experiences, anxiety, depression, and trauma that is influencing and limiting their lives. I offer a safe space, free of judgment, for people to explore their lives and move toward healing, acceptance, and joy.
My therapeutic approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, using elements of attachment, mindfulness, and neurobiology; grounded in understanding the connection of the mind, body, and spirit. Additionally, I work with clients around helping to widen their perspectives and appreciate the relationships, communities, and systems that impact us all.
Outside of work, I am a mom who loves being out in nature, curling up with a book, and finding laughter each day.
I am working towards a Master of Science in Counseling at Prescott College in Arizona. Additionally, I am pursuing an Expressive Arts Therapy Certification and would love to tell you more about what that means. I am grateful to be clinically supervised by Anissa Pfannenstiel.
